吃麵包的第六感

當你見到一個你不認識的麵包時,你會怎樣判斷這個麵包是否好吃呢?

首先要用鼻子。香味是最能打動人的五臟六胕的。未聞其色,已聞其香,已經知道一定是好貨了。

二是觀其色。麵包最忌乾巴巴,放進嘴裡如咬柴皮一樣,如不幸遇到這種麵包,我通常是不會碰的。但是,未放進嘴裡,怎樣知道麵包是否太乾呢?這個要憑經驗和感覺了。如果你未嚐過真正好味的牛角包,當你見到街邊一個賣一塊半(美金)的牛角包時,你可能會掏錢買的。除非我是餓得瘋了,那種像隔夜油炸鬼的牛角包我是不會吃的。我說得這樣狠,是因為我上過當。憑經驗,以後遇到類似的麵包就知道,好味的應該是什麼樣子的。


有一天,給我們遇上了一個連名字也叫不出的麵包。問店員,只知道是提子芝士包。單看樣子,有點像牛角包的那種酥味,外型也很飽滿,應該是外酥內軟那種味道吧。

價錢只是一塊半,買了三個回家。切開一看,果然沒猜錯,裡面軟潤,帶有一陣提子幽香。咬一口,噢,不得了,這……這簡直是絕頂好包﹗俄國人做的麵包就是味濃大件頭份量夠。吃一個可抵一頓飯。

買三個實在太少了,下次應該至少買半打。

  1. michelle: I have the same question and I don’t have the answer either. I think she is probably too busy making and eating pastries. Another thing is she probably thinks she can never be as popular or as good as my blog so she simply gives up already. Poor girl. But I hope she is OKAY.
